THE PROCEDURE FOR REVIEWING MANUSCRIPTS

in the magazine "Summer school on Russian literature"

 

1. General provisions

1.1. Current position reglementary the procedure of reviewing manuscripts of articles and requirements for the reviews submitted to the editorial Board of the journal "Summer school on Russian literature".

1.2. The purpose of the review of submitted papers - improving the quality published in the journal of scientific articles and, as a consequence, the promotion of relevant scientific research through assessing materials by highly qualified experts.

2. Rules for submission of materials for review

2.1. Allowed to review articles, which were prepared in strict compliance with the terms and procedure of acceptance of manuscripts.

2.2. The authors do not have a degree, served articles with the application of a positive review of a specialist – candidate or doctor of Sciences. A review is not required for participants of the international summer school on Russian literature, conducted by the editorial Board.

2.3. Subject to the foregoing requirements, the manuscript is passed to the editorial Board.

3. Organization of the review

3.1. The review procedure consists of one or two of the stages carried out sequentially:

- review (if necessary) is submitted by the reviewer in accordance with clause 2.2;

- review provided by reviewer appointed by the editorial Board.

3.2. The review is written in free format, contains a detailed analysis of the text and includes well-reasoned assessment: scientific (theoretical, methodological or conceptual) level of the article; the degree of novelty of the obtained results; practical significance of results; the degree of assistance to development of scientific concepts in the relevant field of knowledge, General list and analysis of all observed deficiencies, as well as a statement of a lack of plagiarism and the General conclusion about the expediency of publication of the article or its rejection, and revision.

The review is signed with the original signature of the reviewer.

3.3. All manuscripts submitted to the journal "Summer school on Russian literature", are sent by the profile of research for review by the members of the editorial Board and, if necessary, independent experts. All reviewers are recognized experts on the subject of peer-reviewed materials and have had publications on the subject of the reviewed article for the last 3 years.

3.4. The editorial Board sends the article for review to the designated reviewer. The length of the review process – within one month from the date of appointment of the reviewer.

3.5. Reviewers are notified that the manuscripts sent to them are subject to copyright and are reportedly not subject to disclosure.

3.6. Based on the available reviews at the meeting of the editorial Board of the journal is taken by one of the following decisions:

3.6.1. In the case of a positive conclusion of the reviewer appointed by the editorial Board, the manuscript is returned to the editor for publication in a future issue of the journal.

3.6.2. In case of disagreement between reviewers, the final decision on the article publication remains with the editorial Board.

3.6.3. If the reviews contain significant observations and conclusions about necessity of revision of the article, the manuscript is returned to the author for correction. Modified version of the article for the editorial staff may be directed to re-review. In the case of repeated negative result of the review the manuscript is rejected and not subject to further review.

3.6.4. According to the decision of the editorial Board can appoint additional reviewers to resolve doubts about whether the publication of the article.

3.6.5. In case of rejection of the manuscript, it is returned to the author.

3.7. The author has the right to familiarize with the text of the review.

3.8. Reviews of each article are stored in the editorial Board of the journal within 5 years of the date of publication of the magazine, which contains peer-reviewed work.

3.9. The editorial Board of the publication sends copies of the review to the Ministry of education and science of the Russian Federation with the corresponding request.
