This article is devoted to the influence of the literary context of the 1820s on the poetry collection entitled «Опыт Русской Анфологии» which was published in 1828 by Mikhail Alekseevich Yakovlev. An attempt to analyze the structure of the poetry collection according its hypothetical literary and ideological sources makes it possible to show the connection between a tradition of «light verse» and epigrams of Greek Anthology, as well as to describe the poetry collections’ development at the beginning of 19th century.

The article reconstructs the biography of Ya. A. Shchetkin, a forgotten poet of the 1830-ies and 1840-ies and a close friend of the Maikov family, who published a handwritten satirical newspaper together with I. A. Goncharov.

The article discusses the creative work of the playwright N. Polevoi. An attempt is made to identify the genre features of vaudevilles written by Polevoi by comparing them with the existing canon of the genre.

The main theme of research was the address of Appolon Grigoriev to the George Sand’s characters through the vision of his religious mind and mood. The author’s actualized aspiration to the literary experience of creating drama. The attention of George Sand to Grigoriev’s creation was also described from the point of view of his literary-critical work.

FEL’ETONNYJ IZVOD ANTICHNOGO ZHANRA: RASSKAZ F. M. DOSTOEVSKOGO «BOBOK»

 

The article’s aim is to analyze Dostoevsky’s story «Bobok» in the aspect of the genre talkings of the dead. The outline of the genre evolution on the material of Russian literature and the functioning of the concrete elements in the publicism of 1870-s is presented. The influence of this publicistic context on Dostoevsky’s story and on his concrete devices is examined.

OB ODNOM UPOMINANII «LUNNOJ» SONATY L. VAN BETHOVENA V RASSKAZE A. P. PLATONOVA «NEVOZMOZHNOE»

 

The article analyzes an early story by Andrei Platonov from the standpoint of intermediation in the literature in which a text and a piece of music are compared. The facts from the biographies of Beethoven and Platonov are examined, the writer’s epistolary heritage and the wider context of his early works are drawn as well in an attempt to penetrate into the creative laboratory.

VAVILONSKAYA SOCIALISTICHESKAYA REVOLYUCIYA (OB ISTOCHNIKAH PYESY A. G. GLEBOVA «ZAGMUK»)

 

The paper examines in detail the historical sources of A. G. Glebov’s play «Zagmuk» (1923–1925). The author established many links of the plot of the play with the ideas of cultural anthropologists and аssyriologists of the beginning of the XXth century, as well as the possibility of involvement of the play adviser Professor V. K. Shileiko in the development of onomastics, motifs and plot of the text.

«OSMYSLENNYJ ABSURD» V STIHOTVORENII V. F. HODASEVICHA «OKNA VO DVOR»

 

The article’s aim is to analyze one of the most sophisticated poems written by Vladislav Khodasevich – «Windows looking into the yard» — as a poetical experiment close to «anti-poetry». Absurd (in the content and in the form) is defined as the «constructive principle» of the poem. The key motives of his latest collection of verse, «European night», are examined, and the connection between the poem and its possible sources is reinterpreted.

PRIZNAKI FIKCIONALNOSTI V LITERATURNOJ MISTIFIKACII (na primere «Velesovoj knigi») 

 

The article deals with possibility of the theory of fictionality in the analysis of literary mystifications. Concepts of literary mystification and quasimistification get divorced. An attempt is made to define a place and a role of mystification as the fictional text in literature and culture on the example of «Veles book».
